perfect socal winter sunset.

One of my favorite features of my iPhone 4 is the awesome camera. I snapped this photo from my car as I was waiting at a light while driving home from work one January day. When I saw all the colors in the sky and the perfect silhouette of the palm trees I knew I had to scrap this photo! Here's what I came up with: 

I actually used a sketch from KP's Sketchbook 2 Class as inspiration. She now offers the PDF's of this class for sale, so if you missed it you should definitely check out that link for details!

I also added some hand stitching around the green patterned paper for added texture.
